How do I contact Ozark Rustic Woodworks?

Answer:
Ozark Rustic Woodworks can be contacted via this page.  Please keep in mind that we are slower to answer e-mail than phone calls since we are often outside either harvesting timber, sawing logs, or at work in the shop.  If you need to reach us quickly, please call (573) 308-6975.

Question:
Where do you get the products listed on your website?

Answer:
We do not get our products from anywhere.  We are the makers of all the items listed on our site.  To go a little further, we actually harvest the timber, dry the logs, saw them out, and hand craft every item listed on this site in our product catalog.  The timber used is native cedar and hardwoods from central Missouri and they are harvested with low environmental impact methods.

Question:
How do I purchase an item in the product catalog?

Answer:
Ozark Rustic Woodworks is proud to offer online ordering from our product catalog.  Unlike many other mantel and custom wood product makers, you are actually purchasing the item that is show in the related picture.  You are not getting a massed produced item from us since each one is a custom, handcrafted work from our shop.

Question:
How do you ship your products, especially the mantels?

Answer:
All products from Ozark Rustic Woodworks are shipped to the lower 48 states via UPS ground.  Since we are a custom wood shop, we go ahead and build custom shipping containers for our items.  All shipping costs include insurance.  While the insurance does cover the cost of any damage the item is considered to be custom and therefore can not be replaced with an identical item.  It can be replaced with a similar item though from our product catalog.  We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the United States.  However we would be happy to discuss a custom order for those areas with you.

Question:
What is your standard mantel size?

Answer:
The standard mantel length is 60 inches (5 feet).  We do offer custom sizes for our mantels and coat racks.  Mantels can be ordered, by contacting us, in 1 foot increments beyond the standard 5 feet.

Question:
Do you offer both finished and unfinished wood products?

Answer:
Yes, however our current stock in the product catalog is what we have to offer.  If should need something that is not listed in our current catalog, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you on the request..

Question:
How long does it take to ship an order?

Answer:
Normally we attempt to ship all orders within 10 days from when it was received.  This gives us the time to properly build the shipping container and pack the item as it should be for shipping.

Question:
Do you accept returns?

Answer:
Unfortunately no.  The reason for this is that each item is custom made and shipped at considerable expense.  Items damaged in shipping can be replaced with a similar item from our product catalog.  If you should have an issue with an order, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the possible options with you.
